Keep the fallen filling, crown or bridge; if the crown is intact, clean and bring it — it can often be re-cemented. Protect the exposed tooth from very hot, very cold and hard foods, do not chew on that side, and do not insert a sharp object into the cavity. As fracture and sensitivity risk rise while exposed, come to the clinic soon.
