With good care it generally lasts 10–15 years or more; regular check-ups extend its life.

02 Which is better, zirconia or porcelain?

Zirconia has no metal support and transmits light more naturally; which is suitable depends on the tooth's position and your expectations.

03 Is much of my tooth ground down for a crown?

Only a thin layer needed for the crown to fit is reduced; the aim is to preserve healthy tooth tissue.
